The reprint is as hard to find as the 1827 Edition.

The level of ship-specific detail provided sets the standard for all other references. Of particular interest is what was 'know and unknown' about the Japanese and German Navies. Clearly the axis major powers tried to keep some secrets (and probably the other world powers as well).
