First Edition with Scribners "A" on Colophon with first state dust wrapper - no photographer credit on rear of the dust jacket cover; cloth is clean with author's signature stampled on oatmeal colored cloth of front cover; dust jacket is heavily chipped and taped now under mylar protector, "F" in "For" on front dj cover missing, price clipped; 471 pages; book interior is clean and unmarked, no signatures, normal browning of end papers at spine where glued down.
