General Comments on Book ConditionWe will make every effort to provide you with the finest copies of books and prints available. However, the vast majority of our stock was "previously owned" and as such, it frequently bears a previous owners name inscribed on the inside end papers with or without a bookplate. In addition, there may be minor signs of use such as minor edge bumping, or small tears in the dust jackets (dj). These common conditions of normal wear will generally not be described. However, rest assured, that any other imperfections will be accurately noted in the item description as outlined just below. Near the end of each book listing you will find a short-hand entry for the book condition and the dust jacket condition. Thus, vg/g means - a very good copy of the book with a good copy of the dust jacket. Additional decriptive items associated with the book follow this entry. All dj's are under transparent Mylar dust covers to protect them from further damage.
