2-Volume Boxed Slip Case Format -- The 'Strike Hard Railsplitters' Division Includes Volume 2 - Roster of Officers and Enlisted Men - ETO 260 pages, toc, b/w photos, b/w illustrations plus color fold-out illustrations; endpaper map, maps, appendices. Volume 2 - Division Roster - soft cover; 140 pages. Entries are arranged alphabetically by sir name by regiment/battalion/company. Very good condition. Both volumes are in a labeled slip case (box) which shows heavy rubbing, edge wear and soiling; corners are worn. Clearly this box served it purpose - it protected both books very well. Included with this set is the Railsplitters Society ordering postcard. The boxed two volume edition is extremely hard to find. The Division was Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and drew officers and men from 6 other states. Outstanding!
